ABOUT THIS COURSE:
The Performance Appraisal is central to the whole Performance Management process. Many Managers have responsibility for appraising their subordinates’ performance within a formal appraisal scheme. All too often such schemes do not work as well as they should, and systems can fall into disrepute. Yet other organisations see their appraisal schemes as fundamental to their success. To work properly, good appraisal schemes need to be supported by the very special skills of appraisal interviewing.
COURSE OBJECTIVES:
By the end of the course, participants will be able to:

- Outline the steps required to prepare for this type of interview
- Conduct appraisal interviews so that the subordinate is motivated to improve his or her performance
